Hello everybody and welcome to the Here We Are Podcast episode 201 my goodness I missed

episode 200 I wasn't even paying attention I'm not the biggest milestone guy in the world. I'm not the type to get

too excited about birthdays and that sort of thing, but maybe I'm wrong. Maybe every cause

for celebration is a worthy one and episode 200. My goodness we have come

a long ways with this podcast. Look at how much we've learned now over 201 episodes so much too

much I can't even keep track I don't know how much of it is still in my head how much is completely gone but what a

fantastic adventure this has been continually stimulating and just chance to think in different ways all of the time and get to learn so much from such well-informed people.

This podcast, I've said this before, I didn't think anything would ever do it for me the way

stand-up comedy does.

Stand-up comedy was my first love, it's the thing that I dreamed about since I was a young man

around nine years old or so, and I just was very, very passionate about it.

And it meant the world to me. and I didn't think I'd love anything

as much as a stand-up comedy and I'm pretty sure I love this podcast more than I love

stand-up. I love doing this podcast. I love learning I love getting a chance to talk with all of these fantastic experts. It's such a

privilege and the audiences that I know when you guys come out to shows and stuff I get to meet you guys and now with my stand-up science show

where I get people out that are kind of this demographic the people the type of people that listen to this

podcast and come out to these shows are just such fantastic audiences, too.

They're so much better than a regular old stand-up comedy clubs.

They can wear me down sometimes.

But knowing that there's people out there with an attention span with a

curiosity that actually want to learn things that want to have big conversations

about big ideas that gives me hope for this world. You guys absolutely give me hope and if you're
