You came over every day, you brought food and conversation and friendship.

Yeah, is your place still full of gummy bears? God, I'm just like, it's so bad that I just started bringing them to the comedy store.

I got to get them out of the house. Everybody just, they sent me candy and then I didn't want to die of diabetes.

I wanted to read this letter before we go on any further. I got a lot of great emails and I got some great stuff sent to me, but this guy here, his name is Greg Dewey, and he sent me a package while I was down.

And I opened it up and it was, it was a Guns and Roses appetite for destruction, original cover, mint condition.

How many do they make? I don't know what they made, but they're there 150, 200 bucks on eBay.

Yeah, and so he writes me the letter. It says, thanks for working so hard. Let's see, I hope you get well fast. I send you my, what is this candy? Read it.

Like I said, he has great. I'll read the whole thing. Yeah, Dean, thanks for working as hard as you do. Rest easy and get better.

I send you my prize possession of a Greek appetite. Great, the great appetite for destruction.

Right. So he sends me his personal, his personal copy of appetite for destruction.

And I have to say he has great penmanship. He really does.

Oh, yeah, well, I just don't have glasses on. I can't read fucking shit like an idiot. But my point is I sent it back to him yesterday.

I can't take a guy's fucking prized possession. That's what it says. It says it's prized possession.

Yeah, and it hadn't been opened. It looked like well, it had been open, but you could tell that he had saved it. The record came out in 1988.

Okay. The thing looked brand new, right? Yeah. And you know, he's like, feel free to sell it. It hit me so hard, man, that like he didn't have money to donate or anything.

I don't want anybody's money or anything, but he sent this and it's like, you can't take a man's prized possession. Yeah.

But just the gesture of doing that. It was incredible. And how many days hold in were you when you got that like a few like what was it like five days in something we opened it just darkness.
