what happened at the coliseum riding the r 500 his great battles with stanton and everything else

i didn't really know damon back then just to say hi here and there, but I've gotten

to know him a little bit better, not a ton better, since this podcast in 2008. But I was surprised

when I was done, I remember thinking how much he opened up to me about everything that kind of went

on in his career and the different things that happened and why they happened and everything else.

And when he talks about getting hurt, his knee, he got to spend time on the lake and got

to see a side outside of motocross that he had never really seen before.

And it's something that I still remember to this day about what he thought and everything else.

And so it was interesting to see that.

And I think it applies to guys today as well.
