Thank you. Now we'll turn to the Wednesday evening mission from Father Beck. When we think of our Lord's sufferings, my dear friends, very often we go directly

for the sufferings on the cross. We miss a lot.

Father LeBi B. Aes last night spoke to you about our Lord's agony in the garden and the moral

sufferings which were his at that time. Tonight I'd like to speak to you about the second sorrowful mystery,

the scouraging at the pillar,

and the events which led up to that suffering.

You'll see that there's not only the physical suffering,

there's much, much more moral suffering.

After our Lord was arrested in the garden, bound like a petty criminal,

it was led to Caiaphas the high priest.

It was knight. The Sanhedron, the Jewish religious court should not have been meeting, but it was.
