It's Sean Croxton.com. We got Michael E Gerber back on the show. We first had Michael

on the show a few weeks ago and I told you how much I loved his book the E-Meth

revisited. I wish I had read it like 20 years ago. I'd be a billionaire

right now. You have no idea. A little bit mad at myself about that. But ever since I read his book, I've been fascinated by franchises,

how somebody can have an idea, open up a business around that idea, and then work on the business instead of

in the business, right? What I mean by that is creating a set of systems and processes that make the business incredibly

efficient and also highly profitable and these systems and processes are so

simple that any unskilled worker can come in and work in your business.

And also, another entrepreneur can come and buy into your franchise and then open up their own using that same set of systems and processes.

And then you've got like duplicates of your business under the same name all across the country or the world.

I think that's so cool.

Like I want to do that, right?

And so today Michael's going to share a story about an idea that somebody executed that led to the place where I got my

haircut when I was a little kid.
