Welcome to Fit for Your Mind Friday, where I share an insight from me to you.

I'm not sure who needs to hear this today, but here is what I know as truth. And it's something

I now know as truth. I didn't always know it as truth, but I think this is going

to apply to many of you today. Here's what I want you to know. You are not your current circumstance,

not at all. You're not your injury. You're not your setback. You're not your current bank account.

You're not your past stories. You're not the past things that happened to you. You're not

others' opinions of you. And you're definitely not people's judgment of you. And my gosh,

judgment is so high right now, especially with the influx of media and social media happening

right now. so much judgment.

You are not those opinions of you. Now, all of that that I listed, circumstances, your bank

account, your stories, your past, people's opinions, those all might be things that have

happened to you, but who you are is wherever you are

actually putting your focus and attention towards.

Let me say that again.

Who you are is where you put your focus at attention.

Meaning, if you put your focus and attention on circumstances, setbacks, your bank account,

current situation, other people's opinions and judgments, you'll remain that type of person.

But you have the power to shift your focus and focus on what it is you actually want to create.

And when you direct your attention there in a way I call forcing the vision,

you start putting your attention and all of your energy towards what you want to create,

you can become an entirely different person. Now, there was a time in my life where all of those

things, those past events, all of my current situations were totally defining me.
