survived for 200 episodes. And so today we're joined by listener Zach Chapman,

Nicolette Stewart, and Bruno on Kir. And we'll start off with Zach. So

Zach, last year you were a finalist in the Writers of the Future Contest.

And in your acceptance speech you said, I'd like to thank a podcast, Geek's Guide to the Galaxy.

If it weren't for them, I probably wouldn't be writing science fiction because they got me back into it.

So just tell us a bit about that journey of how you got interested in writing science fiction

and what role the podcast played with that?

So I, uh, how I got into the podcast is I was a recent grad and I just got married and I just got a full-time job

creating state standardized tests and I didn't have it was very not

labor intensive on on my brain and so somehow I got a hold of wastelands by J.J.A.

And I loved all the stories in it.

And so did some research and found out that he was on a podcast
