And our film review this week, our film review is Skinner Merink. Skinner Merink was released

in 2023. It is five out of ten on IMDB and 71% on Rotten Tomatoes. Two children wake up

in the middle of the night to find their father is missing and all of the windows and doors

in their home have vanished. I mean, I don't know how this film review is going to go. But

before we start, before we get into it, just to say so many people requested that I review

this film. I was getting messages here and everywhere being like, you need to watch Skinner

Merink and review it. And this film was all over TikTok. So from what I could gather,

it was streamed on a like online film awards thing. And due to some sort of glitch, it

ended up being downloadable. So it like word about this film spread really quickly and again

to this sort of like underground cult status really quickly. And lots of people are like,

this is the scariest movie I've ever seen. So I thought, yeah, let's watch it. And I had

geared myself up to hate it. And while I didn't hate it, I also sort of hated it. So let's

get into it. My likes, just to say massive props to the director for making a movie that

was such a risk because this is a risky film. It is very sort of art house. I mean, it seems

to be also very marmite like people either love it or hate it. It's all shot on like old

VHS style shots that are all frustratingly off center. You see very little, a lot of the
