And we finally hear 200 episodes, a milestone I never thought we would reach.

Why are we still here?

Because this is all we can do now, Will.

And also, we needed to finally talk about Godzilla.

Oh, man.

Yeah.

You know, 100 episodes ago when you said we were going to do episode 200 on Godzilla, part of me thought,

okay, but we're never actually going to make it that far.

Well, here we are.

Now, we've opined on why we love the big guy over the last 200 episodes, but let's just sum it up again.

Why would you think that we go back to Godzilla over and over again?

What is the attraction there?

I've said this many times before, but it bears repeating.

When I was a kid, first getting into Godzilla movies, I thought that they were so bad they're good.

You probably saw a few on Mystery Science Theater 3000.

You know, it was a guy in a rubber suit stomping on cardboard cities, and the dubbing,

the voices didn't match the lip movements, for gosh sakes.

Yeah, don't they know how to make movies? I mean, do those Japanese people really think that that's an actual monster? Mm-hmm. But then, you know, I had a bit of an epiphany when I went to see a little movie called Godzilla 2000 in a theater. That's right. At a great time. One of the great movie-going experiences in my life, realizing, you know, this is really

fun and they get it. Yeah. You know, these filmmakers understand the appeal of this subject and they

know how to exploit it and, you know, have fun with it. And as we know, so bad it's good is, you know,
