There is a dishonesty in the way the government is talking to us about immigration. It's just

McGovern. And today, alongside me is Zoe Gardner, who is a campaigner on the rights

of migrants and migration policy in the UK. Now, Zoe, I mean, it's the perfect time to be chatting

to you, given everything that's going on at the minute. I mean, there's so much rhetoric around

immigration being bad that we've let too

many people in and, you know, we're going to get your thoughts and all of that. But before we get

into it, can you just give us a bit of background on yourself? You know, how did you get into

campaigning on this issue? Yeah, sure. So thank you so much for having me in the first place.

I have been working on immigration throughout my entire career. So I started out working for, I've worked for a bunch of small charities that support migrants and refugees of all kinds in the UK and also across Europe. And what most charities have as their model is they're primarily sort of service delivery.
