to watch the thing tonight? Are you doing anything? It's I guess. So she comes over and proceeds to talk the whole time and shit on the thing from start to finish. What? And shit on like all of my life. She's like, oh, nice fake fireplace. And I was like, I really like to have fake fire

No, no, you you lost me at shit on the thing. Fuck you. But like, I don't care if you think my life is shitty. How dare you say bad things about Kurt Russell.

Then she tried to kept teaching Macy had to jump over the gate in her room. And I was like, stop. I was like, please stop. So you want to date with the Joker and then invited her over to your house.

And then she's like, I'm not really looking to like date. Like, can we is it possible that we can be friends? And I was like, yeah, it's real possible. Like, let's not worry about that tension.

And this week we decided we were going to watch.

It's our 200th episode. I can't believe we made it 200 episodes. That's that's so many. It is so many. This is one of my favorite movies of all time.

And I know we all seen this before. So like, do you even remember the first time you saw this movie? I had to be four or five. I was like, very young. Yeah, I'm pretty sure I saw the second one theaters as like a toddler.

That's how much I love Ghostbusters by the time the sequel came up, which was like 89, 99. I think it was 89. I may be wrong about that though. It was like six. No, five. Yeah, I didn't even see Ghostbusters 2 in the theater. So I was too young. Yeah, I did not see this in theaters. I've actually never seen a sequel. I have never seen a Ghostbusters sequel.

You haven't seen afterlife. Nope. You haven't seen Ghostbusters 2? Nope. Ghostbusters 2. You might like.

Ghostbusters 2 was off the rails and I love it. I struggle with this movie because I know it's good. Like I know it's good. It's paced well. It's made well. It's written well. All the performances are great. It is a classic. I just have no emotional attachment to it as a movie. And I feel the same is about back to the future as well. I also know this is great.

I understand why other people love it. That love is valid and deserved 100%. It just does nothing for me where I'm just like, yeah, I recognize this is good. Yeah, I'm good. I saw the one. That's why I think you'll write the second one because it's like this but not well written paste.

I mean, maybe that to be honest that might actually help me. Like Ghostbusters 1 rides that line of like, oh, it's like a very silly concept and like you have a couple people who make jokes but really it's just about like very serious characters reacting.

Well, and I think that's kind of why it does well because it takes a bonkers concept but it takes it seriously and that's why it's as successful as it is.
