So Jane, what have we gone and done?

What we went and did was a neitherist could believe we were going to go and do this

milliseconds before we started doing it. We were waiting in the wings to go on at the Royal

Festival Hall with our 200th edition, unfortunately. What was going through your mind at those important

moments? That if there had been a junction in my life with a signpost that said left to the Royal

Festival Hall on a very, very hot summer's night or right to a job perhaps based around cross-stitching

and embroidery, it would have been a good idea to take the cross-stitching embroidery junction,

because I think to say we were nervous is an understatement, like we were like flailing jellyfish

in a very fast current, that is an excellent description of what was a, for me, stomach-churning

event. And so I hope people do enjoy this. This is a slice of theatrical life, like no other,

the 200th, I can't say it, no, I'm going to do it, no, I'm going to deliver it properly.

The 200th edition of a podcast, nobody thought would last a fortnight, and it happens to be live

at London's shimmering Royal Festival Hall on the South Bank on the hottest night London had ever

known in the summer of 2021. The BBC is pro to bring you fortunately with Fee and Jen,

another collection of the random and unrelated from Fee Glover and Jen Garby, no

hundlely available in podcast form. I think we've peaked, let's go. What can we say except?

Thank you very, very much for coming, because there must have been a few of you who looked

at the temperature and thought, nah, is that wise. You all seem to look remarkably well,

I was expecting if I can be honest after that thunder shower, slightly worse hair,

but it all seems to survive quite nicely. How's your hair doing?

Doesn't actually matter what the weather's doing, my hair has a life of its own.
