unfolded before our eyes. 343 firefighters were lost that day and almost all of our first responders

20 years ago, I was in second grade. I remember exactly where I was when I heard the news of 9-11.

Now, when you're in second grade, you don't really, you're not really able to process the enormity of the kind of wide-scale death and destruction.

But a friend of mine who just had a child, congratulations, Alex, came storming into our second-grade

classroom, and he said that the World Trade Centers have been hit. The World Trade Center has

been hit. I'll never forget it. Alex, it's it's a great friend of mine and still is really,

really great guy. And the kind of the classroom went like, was like, what are you talking about?
