Friday, May 24th, 2019 was like every other start to the weekend.

Jessica Whipple, her long-standing boyfriend Dietrich Black and their two girls were having

a nice boring night at home like most families with young children do.

I'm included in this.

At around 9 p.m. Jessica and Dietrich put five-year-old Lizzie and her little sister to bed

then returned to the living room to have some adult time.

And by adult time I mean actual time where adults have conversations about things that

don't involve goldfish and unicorns.

A little while later Lizzie's mom Jessica starts messaging her 21-year-old little brother

Alex on Facebook and invites him over to the house to hang out.

Alex lived a troubled life to put it lightly.

His mom abandoned him when he was five.

He was in and out of foster homes.

His mom finally came back into his life and then decided to move him away from everything

he knew and even then she didn't offer him much.

His sad past led to a dark adulthood.
