And someone was telling me, they said, yes, someone told them all sorts of stuff about you,

that they need to cancel your adoption. They said that you're a Satanist that teaches people

to divorce. And I was listening to this going, what? The whole thing was so absurd, but it was real.

My sister attended their discipleship training program a couple years ago and came back with a rave review,

so of course I wanted to learn more.

Several years ago, I read a handful of Eric's books, the most famous of which is when God writes your love story. And if that book

sounds familiar, it's because it was one of the top-selling Christian books for 18 months when it came

out. Our conversation, though, didn't really focus on the book so much, even though that's what

Eric is most well-known for. I figured that you can read the book for yourself to catch up on that.
