| 0:00.0 | All right. Welcome. Happy Good Friday to you guys. This is our weekly Q&A. This is actually |
| 0:10.4 | episode 70 of the Q&A. Although I've done many before I started counting the episodes, |
| 0:15.6 | and you guys are loading your questions in. For those who haven't been here before, let |
| 0:18.3 | me just take 10 seconds to explain what we do. You put questions in the live chat. I try |
| 0:22.4 | to give you a solid biblical answer to the best of my ability, trying to show you my work |
| 0:26.5 | as to how I get there, not just to tell you what to think, but to help you learn the |
| 0:30.7 | process of thinking biblically about everything. And so our first question today comes from |
| 0:36.4 | Stephen Lang from England, who says, why did Jesus' resurrected body still bear the scars |
| 0:43.4 | and injuries which brought about his death? It is my understanding, he says, it is my understanding |

| 0:55.6 | just prior to death. I for one want all my absent teeth and hair back. Why hasn't Jesus' |
| 1:01.4 | body? Why wasn't Jesus' body also perfect as ours will be? And so I think this is a great |
| 1:06.8 | question, something that I think most Christians are automatically interested in. You know, |
| 1:11.5 | like I want to I'm obviously this is deeply connected to my future experience in eternity. |
| 1:16.8 | And it's also connected to Jesus and his glorified body. And anyway, it's all just very interesting |
| 1:21.5 | stuff in the gospels we do read about just for recap for anybody who might not be aware. |
| 1:26.7 | We read about Jesus after his resurrection, not only having the wounds from the crucifixion, |
| 1:32.3 | specifically the nail marks in his hands and the piercing in his side, but we also read |
| 1:37.5 | about him presenting those wounds for inspection with Thomas the Apostle in particular. Hey, |
| 1:43.1 | Thomas, come here, put your finger in my hand. Now we don't know if he actually put his |
| 1:46.0 | finger in Jesus' hand wherever, you know, I'm inclined to think it was here, maybe it |
| 1:49.5 | was here. And we don't know for sure. But we do know that those marks were there, right? |
