near Berlin, Germany.

They've been living in tree houses within the forested area since May of this year,

resisting the growth of the factory.

German authorities are now stepping up their efforts to remove the activists.

Earlier this week on Tuesday, police climbed ladders and took down rope structures to clear the site. The disrupt Tesla

group, as they're named, is leading the opposition. Tesla's Gigafactory in Grunheidev is its only

European Gigafactory. It employs around 12,000 workers, and it plays a key role in the company's

strategy in the region. Well, tensions between protesters and police have grown since May.

Earlier, demonstrators clashed with law enforcement and tried to force their way into the factory.
