Lots of people have a theory and a reason why that is one of the more popular

theories around there is that the more divisive public image these days, the more political

image, the Donald Trump endorsing image of CEO Elon Musk, is putting off Californian buyers,

whether that's true or not, I don't know, but the data shows that Tesla's down 24% from April to June in California and down over the first six months of the year as well, despite that.

Look, Model Y is still Tesla's top selling model in California and the top selling model for Californians to buy.

In June, European car sales were updriven by electric vehicles, particularly

places like Italy where long anticipated subsidies kicked in Germany leading the charge in the

UK, even though it's not in the European Union. UK having another good month as well last month

in June for pure electric sales. Of course, we have a thing called the mandate, which is the bit of law that

says 22% of the cars. You've got to sell this year. We've got to be EV. So expect to see,

I think, more stellar finance deals and incentives from the car makers themselves so that they

don't have to start paying fines for missing those targets. Here in the UK, at least exciting

stuff.

I've seen lots of X-30s flying around on the roads.

But in the US, you can't buy one anymore because they've taken the X-30 off-sale in the US,

such as the chaos and crisis surrounding that vehicle.

They've sold almost 50,000 of them worldwide.

So far, the X-30 is a great little car, quite a small car actually, but look, great material choice, great design. It is not ready for prime time in any way, shape, or former Metac Chapter charging up at service station recently on the motorway. He was heading from Devon to Scotland, and the screens just wouldn't come on in his car for it

was either 15 minutes or 15 miles and he was like I didn't know what speed I was doing I didn't

know anything about anything but I had to get home and I just drove with the whole car effectively

just shut down and I know that's an anecdote of one but there's so many stories of bad software
