0:54.4	You've been quite influence on my own work
0:57.2	and on a lot of people in the field of psychology.
0:59.7	And how long is your career at this point?
1:02.2	Well, I started in positive psychology in 1999.
1:06.0	I attended a summit, a positive psychology summit at Gallup in Lincoln, Nebraska. And there I got to meet Marty Seligman and Ed Deener and Mike
1:17.5	Chicks sent me high. And I sat next to a wonderful man named Don Clifton who came up with the Clifton Strengsfinder.
1:25.3	So I got to start working with him back in 99 as well.
1:28.2	Hey, so the Clifton Strenders is not the same thing as the character strength survey, the VIA survey.
1:37.3	Is there overlap between the kinds of strengths that are being measured by these two things,
1:41.6	these two tests?
1:42.6	No, they're very different actually.
1:44.4	The Clifton Strenges Finder measures
1:46.2	34 themes of talent that with time, energy,
1:50.8	and effort can be turned into strengths.
