Hello heroes and welcome to another exciting episode of One Shot.

I'm James Damato, your Game Master.

Right now we're closing down the holidays and we're coming down from the excitement of our Hanukkah special Eight Knights of Murder, which was run in Deadlands-Noir.

If you haven't gotten a chance to finish that, I recommend going back and listening to it.

Playing in Deadlands Noir was super fun. It was a great way to flex my narrative role-playing muscles.

And unraveling the mystery that Cat laid out for us was an interesting intellectual challenge.

In other words, our Deadlands episode was a serious piece of gaming.

After doing that, I wanted to dive into a light free-form adventure, which brought me right back to the folks

at Sandor at the Zoo.

Now if Sandor at the Zoo doesn't ring any bells, it should.

They're the people who created the system that I believe

everybody loved to hear us play. Everyone is John. They're responsible for other simple pieces of

brilliance and one of them is all out of bubblegum

another rules like humor-based role-playing system. All out of bubblegum is simple.

Every player starts out with eight pieces of bubblegum.

Bubblegum is a resource similar to manna.

It allows players to do mundane things.

If you want to tie your shoes, you need to roll under your amount of bubblegum. you fail a roll you lose a piece of bubble gum.

Which begs the question, what happens when a player is all out of bubble gum?
