The last few weeks, we've been launched into a new decade, keeping in mind the massive opportunity

that we have in the 2020s to be a part of the kingdom of God expanding on planet Earth in ways we

have never seen before. And we are freaking out excited about what God could do over the course of the next decade,

not just in our church or in this country, but around the world.

And we're even more excited because we actually get to play a part in that as the message

of Jesus goes out.

So it's not just hype that we're saying the 2020s are going to be special.

I believe the spirit of God is speaking, not just to me, not just to our church, but to the

big C church right now and communicating that massive revival is possible if the people of God

are praying and connected to Jesus.

I believe that this is something we could play such a huge part in,

but I believe that our ability to either step into that calling or completely miss it

depends on our ability to stay connected to grace and truth. So if you ask me, Miles, what's your

one word for ACC in 2020? It's my one word for us,

and I believe God's one word expressed us two words over the course of the next decade. We have to stay

uncompromisingly connected to grace and truth at the same time. And the great thing is, we don't have to

figure out how to do that. We just have to stay connected to Jesus, who is full of grace and truth.

For too long, I think the church has been forced to make a choice between being loving and

forgiving and being truthful and biblical.

But in reality, in the person of Jesus, they're all the same thing.

So we felt like, okay, we need to be gracious and we need to just make sure people are welcomed and know that they're forgiven and know that

their story is not over and know that god can still use them and there's there's sort of an extreme
