How firm a foundation, ye saints of the Lord is laid for your faith in his excellent word.

The Apostle Paul had an important request for the Church in Thessalonica.

In 2nd Thessalonians 3, he asked them,

Brethren, pray for us that the word of the Lord may have free course and be glorified.

You know, Paul knew he couldn't succeed in his ministry without the prayers of believers.

And our teacher Dr. J. Vernon McGee agreed and added,

every successful evangelist, preacher, and teacher of the word must have people praying for him.

Welcome to Through the Bible, as we set off for 2nd Thessalonians 3,

now as you find your place in God's word,

let's welcome my friend and through the Bible's President Greg Harris, who's here with a great update on how God is working in Europe.

Europe.

What an interesting part of the world to try to bring the word of God,

often referred to as a post-Christian region, but you

have Western Europe, which is very materialistic, and a lot of the great Christian movements

started in places like Germany and England, Switzerland,

and then you have Central Europe or what we used to call Eastern Europe where you have post-communist environments.

And so, Steve, while it's not easy, Europe where you have post communist environments and so Steve

while it's not easy it's there's a lot of encouragement we're getting out of

Europe these days yeah and I'm also excited about the the ministry team that we're

partnering with in that part of the world and how

excited they are. It's just it's been great to get to know them. I had an
