This sounded perfect, and you know what they say if it sounds too good to be true.

I think maybe, maybe this is a con.

This is somebody who is playing CEO fantasy camp,

and we're all just the campers,

because he doesn't know what he's doing.

But if we're being scammed, what is the endgame?

What is the purpose?

And I'm like, damn, this may define me. I may be defined as the person who was stupid enough

to get con. Project is we're going to investigate Michael Esposito and take them down.

At what point does curiosity turn into an investigation?

I think about that a lot in relation to the story, and in particular to how I was doing in late 2016.

Just a few months after Michael Esposito shut down Nuzerati and left dozens of former employees jobless, struggling to make sense of what just happened to them. People like me. People like

Nancy Lee Jobes. To this day, I don't know what he wanted his end result to be, but it certainly

wasn't paying anybody. And it certainly didn't make Newzerati happen.

You may remember Nancy from last episode. She was an editor at Newzerati, promised a salary of

$10,000 a month that never came. But Nancy also set up one of the Facebook groups dedicated to

this bizarre situation.

Hers was called People Screwed by Nuzerati.
