And today I wanted to talk a little bit about the 4269 work week.

I can't remember what it is. I can't remember if we make $420 an hour and work 6.9 hours or 69 hours in a pay period. Okay, so it's four hours a day, five days a week, 20 hours a

week total at $69 an hour. Oh, hell yeah. Yeah, so that comes out to $71,760 per year. And I know this

started as a joke, but honestly, the more I think about it,

I think it's kind of a good idea. Oh, for sure. Because like the HUD designation for our middle

class income where we live in LA starts at like $63,000 a year or something or $65,000 year.

But the L.A. County median income is $77,000 a year. So 71K a year on

this is actually pretty in line with like a median income where we are anyway. So then that just

leaves the idea of how plausible is it for a business to function with a 20 hour work week.

Whoa. I mean, probably I have worked some

desk jobs in the past. I'm not going to say what, but sometimes I'm like, hmm, I feel like I only

do four real hours of work a day and then kind of like being like, I mean, I would always do stuff to fill the time I'm like

definitely when I was younger like I don't know if there is such a thing as a good worker because

I'm kind of like against the idea of like work but I would find pleasure and being like okay I'm

done with this I'm gonna go make a spreadsheet or something just because I'm a nerd. But I feel like a lot of the work that I was

being paid to do could probably be done in a lesser amount of time. Also because me personally,

I am very productive in short bursts. I have like, I'm like a sprinter. I'm not a long haul runner. So actually, you would be very normal for all of those things. So that's interesting that you said that about the four hours a day because in 1974, the UK government limited the work week to three days per week to save money.

And production only dipped 6%.
