I've got an email from a listener who was saying that her little sister is gay.

I think they're in a very red state.

She said that her sister felt really comfortable coming out to her because she listened to me.

Oh, I know.

So she came up and she was saying that we're going to my parents and my sister was like

gearing up to come out to them and they're, she's nervous.

And she was kind of saying like what advice could you give to us for her to kind of have

like a smooth coming out with my parents to which I was really thinking, well, I mean,

I, you know, I can share my experience, but I think what's even more valuable is probably

hearing it from your perspective, mom, right?

Because it wasn't necessarily easy sailing with us.

It's okay, though.

I was so bad.
