my feet

and a lie unto

a lie unto my pad to my path.

On our last searchlight program we saw a turning point in the story of David.

After years of running for his life, David is finally anointed as

King of Judah. So now his problems are over, right? Well not exactly. In fact, some of his problems are just beginning. But as we learned

last time, David has a secret for navigating through problems. It is his heart for God and his communion in prayer with God. Let's now join

Pastor John as we continue David's story as he is anointed as King of Judah.

And the men of Judah came, they anointed David at that time, right then.

They told David saying,

David, the men of J. Beshgiliad, they were the ones that buried Saul.

Now they were probably tattletailing here.

You know the ones that rescued Saul off the wall from Beth Shemesh?

When the Philistines came and chopped off Saul's head and hung his naked corpse on the wall at Beth Shemesh.

David, it was the men of J-Besh Gilead.

They're the ones.
