Summary
Two men race to tell David “Good News” he doesn’t want to hear. David falls apart mourning the death of Absalom. Joab rebukes David and issues a clear threat if he doesn’t pull himself together. David listens but replaces Joab as commander of his army. Chad and Daniel discuss all of this.
