in 1945 in Cleveland, Ohio. All right. So super high level. He's a great attorney, a great dad, a great

uncle to his two nephews, which I'll get into a little bit more. He loves taking long

drives. That's like his way to unwind. Love sports, especially the Indians. Super surface level. He's a healthy, non-smoker.

He's really smart and really driven. So a little bit about him backstory. He got married to his

first wife and they adopted a baby girl named Laura in 1978. In 1980, they moved to State College, Pennsylvania because his wife took a job at Penn

State. At that point, Ray decided to take a step back from being a busy attorney and decided to be a

stay-at-home dad. Man, this guy's awesome. I agree. However, his legal reputation preceded him and the center county district

attorney at the time approached him and offering him a part-time assistant d a position which

balanced out like his drive to be an attorney and to be home because he was only part-time. So he accepted the position.

They started having marital troubles, him and his wife.

They got divorced in 91.

But during the time between he accepted the job and the divorce, the district attorney

at the time chose not to run free election.

At that point, it had been seven years, so he decided to run.
