Hello everyone, this is Desiree Linden here with Carrot Goucher and we're back.

Great news.

We're back for episode two of our podcast to be named very, very soon.

It's going to be plugged in and I think by the fourth episode or so, we'll be saying it.

But today we're just going to talk about some current events going on in the running world,

get some hot takes or maybe just some mild takes on what's been happening in particularly

the marathon space.

I think we kind of have teed up today, but we'll see where the conversation goes.

We tend to get off track and find some good tangents to dig into.

Yeah, that could definitely happen today too, but I'm excited to talk about current events,

mostly focused around the marathon and I'm excited to get your take on stuff and offer my take.

Maybe they're hot takes or maybe they're just educated takes.

That's a hot commodity these days.

I feel like I think that the thing that would be kind of fun is we have this long form platform

to dig into it and be like, oh, maybe my original take was a little bit off or maybe this

will unfold and we can like just have conversation around it that doesn't get done over Twitter,

particularly well.

So I think that'll be fun.

And then we're going to spend some time on that and then much to Cara's dismay.

We're going to talk a little bit about goal setting because this is around the new year and I

know that everyone's going to be thinking about New Year's resolutions and how can I change?

Can I do to set this big goal in 2023?
