Brianna Maitland's car was abandoned on the side of the road 1.5 miles from her workplace in Montgomery, Vermont on March 19th, 2004. We interviewed two people. We talked to Tarrick again, who we spoke to in episode one. But we also spoke with Brianna's dad, Bruce Maitland.

discussion so that was really that was that that was really kind of stunning when you get that email.

So we had a conversation with him.

He said things during a conversation that wasn't recorded that he kind of brought up during

our interview where you know Brianna is in is in a little room in a box in his head.

You know, he doesn't want to open this up.

So he prefers at this point to not talk about Brianna

as his daughter, as a person. He wants to talk about the case and said he will answer as much as he possibly can but he has shut off a lot of the memories that he's had.

He, not intentionally, he just said, you know, it was a tough time, it was a terrible time,

and he doesn't remember a lot of what happened in the immediate, you know, few months and years around that time.
