Recently on millennial, I graduated from college without a plan.

Then I came home, but things had changed.

My mother had moved out of the house,

and it no longer felt like a comfortable place where I could

focus and figure out my future. I made my first crucial decision as a postgraduate

millennial and decided to move him with my boyfriend. Looks good. I like it. You don't like it. You don't like it. You don't like it just because it feels like it's suffocating?

Ben and I just moved into our own apartment and luckily the anxiety I had about moving in with someone that I'm dating for the first time is being distracted with decorating.

In particular trying to figure out where to hang our vintage posters.

Yeah, hashtag, extremely millennial.

I mean, we can obviously hang John Coltrane

poster above the record player? Yeah.

Sure. You want to look at it?

Where to put our coal train poster? That's not a big decision.

But there are decisions that you make in your 20s that

feel like they could shape the rest of your life. And they will, right? I am

constantly wondering, how do I know which choices that I'm making right now will lead

me to become the person I want to be in the future?

And how do I now become paralyzed by this fear, that one decision could screw everything up.

Especially when you're forced to make a decision quickly, because a big unexpected opportunity falls from the sky and lands in your lap.

The evening was pretty normal.
