And 2 Kings chapter 6 tonight.

We're going through chapter by chapter verse by verse and we've been kind of averaging about one chapter a night.

I don't see that a week, I should say, I don't see that necessarily changing,

unless we get to a place where we might try to tackle two chapters.

We've done that before. It can be done.

I do have to warn you that for those of you who haven't read the chapter in advance, it is

probably one of the most heartbreaking and graphic in nature chapters in, I believe, all of the pages of Holy Writs. So that was kind of a

a forewarning as we get towards the end of the chapter. Why don't we go ahead and pray?

We'll ask God's blessing on our time together in His Word, if you would join with me.

Loving Heavenly Father, we want to approach you tonight with open hearts and open eyes and open ears,

because we want to see, hear, and receive that which you would desire to minister to us from your word.

Lord, we need for you to keep any distraction away from keeping us away from what you would

desire to do in our time together. Lord, we want to give you our undivided attention. We know that

this chapter that we have before us tonight is here in our Bibles for a reason. And so we're

looking to you the author and the finisher of our faith to minister to us that reason. We pray.

In Jesus' name, amen. amen all right let's jump in

pardon me and the sons of the prophets said to Elisha see now the place where we dwell

with you is too small for us please verse 2 let us go to the Jordan and let every man take

a beam from there and let us make there a place where we may dwell. So he answered, go. Then

one said, please consent to go with your servants. and he answered, I will go.

All right.

Well, we're off to a good start.
