Summary

The host, Raani, talks you through cleaning your home, and she is pretty thorough. This is an extra long episode for those who want to deep clean their house and have requested a longer episode. Future episodes will probably be only one hour long or less, but I’m thinking people can double up on those or re-listen to this longer one as needed. At one point in this episode, Raani recounts the time she hired a cleaning service to do a deep clean. Listen to find out why she may never do it again. Don’t forget to follow this show on Facebook! Hi everyone, Ronnie here.

You're listening to Clean With Me, the podcast where I talk you through, cleaning your house.

0:15.7

Thanks for joining me. This is episode 90, and I've never done this before because most of my episodes are just under

0:23.2

an hour and length, but I'm going to talk you through a two-hour cleaning marathon. So if you don't

0:31.7

have time for that right now, maybe check out one of my other episodes. But this is going to be a long episode. It's going to be a

0:39.7

deeper cleaning session. This might be something that you can listen to again and again during

0:46.3

those times that you want to go deeper with your house cleaning. So let's get started. One of the first things that you might want to do to gear up your

0:57.1

for your cleaning session is get your house smelling good. You might want to turn on your wax

1:05.2

warmer and pop in a new wax melt or maybe you use regular candles. You could light a candle. Maybe you need to

1:14.8

take out the trash. I feel like I like to take out the trash at the beginning because I'm going to be

1:21.9

throwing things away in the process of cleaning. So when I say take out the trash in this episode, I'm talking about your kitchen trash, your

1:31.2

bathroom waste baskets, and any other waste baskets that you may have.

1:36.5

That way, you'll be able to get some cleaning done.

1:39.3

You might even be carrying around a trash bag at some point during this episode when we get to the decluttering

1:46.1

portion. But get your house smelling good by taking out the trash and replacing those liners.

1:54.1

Or maybe you're not feeling presentable. I encourage you to put on something that you're not afraid to clean in. I mean, you don't want to be just

2:03.9

terrified that you might lean up against a countertop in your bathroom that has a bleach product on it.

2:10.2

I mean, if you're using products containing bleach, don't wear your best clothes, obviously, but at the same time, you want to feel presentable

2:19.0

and good about yourself. So get on something that is comfortable to clean in. Maybe you need to

2:24.4

freshen up, wash your face, put your hair in a ponytail, maybe you like to put on a little

2:28.9

makeup, whatever you need to do to feel ready for your cleaning session, now is the time to kind of gear up for

2:37.4

it because this is going to be a long one. So make sure you're ready for the day and that you've
