So turn in your Bibles to the Old Testament, the book of Second Chronicles.

Now, I realize that if you are new to our Wednesday night Bible study,

that sounds strange to your ears to hear, turn in your Bibles to Second Chronicles. And I say that

because I have made a discovery that a great number of Christian believers have never read their Old Testament.

And Second Chronicles is not like high on their list of go-to books in a time of crisis,

not a lot of underlines in that book, until you read it once.

And then you discover how rich it is.

It's a spiritual editorial on the history of God's people.

It's a very unique perspective. I've come to really love this book. I had a pastor who said it was

Second Chronicles was perhaps his favorite book in the Old Testament.

So we find ourselves in the middle of it.

Very simple format.

We begin where we left off and we continue until our time is up.

Put a marker there, pray, go home, and then pick it up next time until we eventually

make it through the book or the chapters of the book and then eventually the entire Bible.

We've been through the Bible, cover to cover, a few times already. And then when we're done,

and when we hit Revelation, we're done with that,
