With that, we're going to tonight tackle two chapters, Second Chronicles, chapters 21 and 22.

On our trek through the Bible, book by book, and chapter by chapter and verse by verse,

they're relatively short chapters. So we'll certainly be able to get through both of them.

But before we do, I want to briefly comment

on the breaking news today. For those of you who have been following the court's ruling,

and of all places, Washington State, my old stomping grounds, concerning this temporary restraining order on Trump's immigration

ban and temporary ban. You doubtless heard that it was upheld, not surprising given that

the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals that made the ruling is unquestionably

the most liberal court in the United States of America. So much so that in 2016, get this,

the Supreme Court overturned approximately 90% of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals

rulings. That is more than any other appellate court. And this is the same court. I mean,

if you just go back through the history of this court's rulings,

it is pretty grievous to say the least. That's really kind of an understatement. Three judges,

basically illegally, by the way, overturned the executive order by the President of the United States because they did not agree with it.

The fact of the matter is the law is unambiguously clear in allowing the President of the United States

to impose a temporary travel ban as Trump did.

What's really interesting is, and nobody's talking about this, Obama did this with Iraq.

And other presidents prior have also had these executive orders to impose a temporary travel ban from terrorist states,

basically, and countries that have been identified as terrorist states, and Muslim nations,

by the way.

And it's really interesting too. The seven nations that Trump

imposed this temporary ban on are the seven nations that Obama actually identified as Muslim
