Have you ever said anything that you regretted later on?

Yeah, we can all relate to that.

Maybe very recently some of you did that.

I, on this last Saturday night, was having a conversation with someone, and afterwards, I just

thought, boy, I hope that wasn't taken wrong.

I might not have put that the right way, but I can't take it back, but maybe I should find

them and try to explain, but I thought, no, it's just going to be weird.

But how many times we have done that?

We have said something, but then the repercussions of that statement can be possibly detrimental.

It was Solomon who wrote in Proverbs 15, verse 1, that a soft answer turns away wrath.

I sure wish that his son, Rehbooam, could have read what his dad wrote.

Because that was a mistake he made and it cost him the kingdom.

It was on Rea Boeum's coronation day.

His dad, Solomon, had died.

Rea Boeum was being coronated the king. He moved the coronation

ceremony, you remember last week, from Jerusalem up to Shechem. That gave a group of opportunists

an entrance to this newly coronated king to say, look, your dad was heavy on the taxes. If you lighten up a little
