Welcome to the fireside mystery theater as we present our season premiere

here in the dark and decadent

and oh so delicious slipper room,

here in New York City.

Now as we savor the first tastes of autumn,

perhaps not today.

But when we eventually do, we thought,

what better way to return to you, dear audience,

then with a gaggle of twisted tails

that take us back to the origin of our deepest human fears.

Our childhood fears, to put a fine point on it,

as we prepared ourselves for this task,

we asked a few folks to tell us

what scared them most as children.

Music tell us what scared them most as children? I never told anybody this before, but when I was a kid, about five or six years old, I would

hear what sounded like a baby, an infant crying coming up in the attic of my dad's house.

But every time I would go up there, the crying would stop.

But then start again as soon as I came back downstairs.
