licks for you so that they can tell you a few cool stories.

Speaking of cool stories, what's the coolest guitar story anyone ever told you?

For me, well, you know, I heard a lot of great guitar stories in my day, but one that stands out,

well, it was told to me kind of after a silly, embarrassing moment at Denver International Airport.

I had just played a gig the night before with a great singer in Boulder named Liza, Liza O.

And I'm by myself at the gate, headed back to California the next day when another guy shows up with a gig the night before with a great singer in Boulder named Liza Liza O. And I'm by myself at the

friendly and he comes up to me. He's like, hey, what's you got in your bag? And I'm like, oh, you know, man,

it's just like a 2003 strat or something. What's in your bag? And he says, oh, it's a 1962 Stratocaster. I'm thinking, wow, who brings a 62 strat and a soft case to shove

in the overhead bin on an airplane? But as I'm thinking this, I sheepishly realize to my embarrassment,

oh my God, this is Brad Gillis. I'm like, dude, I mean, Brad Gillis, I saw when I was 12 years

old, he was playing with Ozzy Osbourne.

He had just taken over.
