Summary

Starting January 1, 2026, we’ve got some big BLISTER+ updates: we’ve heard your requests, and we’ve been able to add an additional 20 outdoor activities to BLISTER+, bringing the number up to 50 outdoor activities that are covered globally. So Jonathan Ellsworth and Kristin Sinnott discuss that, then talk about the 2026 Blister Summit that’s happening at Snowbird on April 13, 2026.

Note: We Want to Hear From You!

We’d love for you to share with us the stories or topics you’d like us to cover next month on Reviewing the News; ask your most pressing mountain town advice questions, or offer your hot takes for us to rate. You can email those to us here.

0:23.0

about two big updates here at Blister for 2026, and the first of these starts on January 1st,

0:31.8

2026, which, wow, that's in like 10 days.

0:36.4

So yeah, on January 1st, we've got some big changes coming to Blister Plus and some really exciting ones.

0:44.3

We are now covering an additional 20 outdoor activities, bringing that number up to 50 outdoor activities that are covered under Blister Plus, and yes, that

0:56.9

coverage still extends everywhere in the world and everyone, anywhere in the world of any age,

1:05.3

younger old, is still eligible to sign up. So Kristen and I are going to talk about the new changes. That's about

1:12.9

a 15 to 20 minute conversation about Blister Plus, and I would strongly encourage you to listen

1:18.9

closely, and then please share this episode with anyone you know who might benefit from

And of course, let me know if you like the new name for the summit that I came up with during our conversation.

1:53.6

As Kristen says, it kind of just rolls right off the tongue.

1:58.4

Okay, now before we get started, I want to give a shout out to a few very

2:03.3

badass, very cool ladies who all happen to have their Blister Plus memberships renew on the same

2:10.5

day last week. And fun fact, they've actually also all been on this Blister podcast.

2:24.0

I'm talking about professional skiers, Kate Zellif, Molly Arminino, and Amy David.

2:31.4

Yeah, Mark on our team pointed out to me that they all renewed on the same day, and we thought that was a pretty cool coincidence.
