the last two weeks you guys got Patreon live zoom calls so we kind of took a break from

emails although there's technically emails, but with patrons

where we're able to answer questions and talk to them

while reading their emails.

Today we're going to be doing something a little bit different for Friday.

We're going to be doing an I statement versus you statement,

because even though we've talked about this a lot in the past we still get questions on I use I statements and it doesn't work it's that doesn't it's not helpful blah blah blah blah blah so figured we'd give you guys scenarios we took

some excerpts from books that we've read and are going to give you examples and

then we're going to break things down in a way that you were able to pause the

podcast have a discussion with your person and then resume the podcast.

For example, one of the things that you don't want to do when making I statements is I

because you're supposed to say I and then you're supposed to tell them how you feel and then you're supposed to give them the solution of the thing that you need to fix the problem.

You don't want to be like I feel like you talk too much and need to shut the fuck up because that is not going to give you the

outcome and you can be like well I used an I statement you sure did yeah you did

it doesn't mean that you did it effective points for trying not the exact

goal though right so we So we're going to jump into this in the

event that we blow through this we will have emails at the end of the

episode. If not we're going to just you know we'll wrap up. I hope that this goes for a little over an hour.
