Good afternoon fellow investors and welcome back to Invest Talk.

This is our Monday, February 6, 2023 edition and as long time listeners know, this is a

show that's about giving you perspective, giving you data and helping you navigate

ever changing markets.

You know, markets change from year to year, from quarter to quarter, from month to month.

And a lot of that has to do with changing liquidity dynamics, changing economic trends.

And that means you have to stay on top of them in order to understand what environment

we are operating in today.

And we are in early February, but that also means that we are still in the midst of

earnings season.

And when you're looking at earnings, it's important to remember one big factor, especially

in a time when earnings are decelerating, dropping from any companies and likely to

hit negative territories sometime this year.

But if you look back in history, you will see that typically, equities trough six to

nine months before earnings reach their low point.
