We're going to ask Mike Rogers about that. Jen just amended. He's the former chair of the House Intelligence Committee is also a former FBI special agent. I know he takes great pride in that.

So he knows about about as much about it as anybody can possibly know. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Subject to the lens of his opinion, certainly, which we'll try to determine.

Mike Rogers joins us. Sir, how are you gentlemen next to you guys? I was nothing more than an interlocutor. Mike, may we call you Mike? Mike, please do. All right. Excellent. So listen, Mike, what have you made of the whole Devon Union's memo release?

The president saying we caught him. We caught him the upcoming shift release. Adam shift on all the cable shows making all sorts of outlander claims you as a man of wisdom and experience. Where are you on all this?

Well, I'm very, very concerned. The only place that we had on Capitol Hill that was supposed to be nonpartisan or at least bipartisan was intelligence. I'll tell you why. As chairman, you've access to the most sensitive information that the government.

That involves itself in and there's only four people between the House and the Senate that get access to it on a regular basis. I didn't know that decisions from them. Yeah. And so there's lots of classified information that the whole committee's deal with, but then there are some very things. So think about a covert action.

So the most sensitive thing that we can do, fraught with peril, all of them, none of them go exactly the way they're planned, but they have really important implications for national security.

The big four, they call them are the four corners, because I think I got big in Congress and therefore they said, Lys, let's change that. But I'm, I need a little drum roll.

We're sitting here rubbing our jeans, like, you know, the heaviest of wisdom. You take a left turn and a humor. But anyway, so I'm sorry. Listen, just so people can picture it.

That's why I think this partisan shooting back. I mean, it's a gunfight now. I'm going to shoot my gun. You should do gun. We're going to use this people. And I'll tell you what it does.

This is really important. Now, which is not talked about a lot publicly is the intelligence community will pull back. They will play 100 questions with you. They will not lie to you.

They won't hold information, but they're not going to tell you everything until you ask the right question and push the right button.

And I just think that's not good for the long term health of oversight of the intelligence. And they'll pull back why?

Would you trust any information that you send up to that committee? No, not the public within about 32 seconds. No, no, no, no, because if it if if if Nunez feels like it helps him or shift felt like it feels like it helps him.
