You just gave up on that so quickly this week on the show we are continuing our coverage of Stephen

king and Peter Straub's The Talisman with chapters 37 through 40 of the book back in

our world at last jack finally reaches the pacific

ocean and the black hotel guarding the whole purpose of his quest the talisman the end

is almost near matt what did you think of this week's reading um this is this is some some good

stuff some some intense stuff i mean we're we're seeing, we're seeing Jack having

reached a kind of, you know, heroic form of himself. And the text is actually pretty explicit

about that, by the way. I was sort of sick the entire last week. So often with the fever.

So, so I may have hallucinated like half of the things that happened

that I remember happening in this week's reading. So if I say something that happened and it didn't

actually happen, that's probably what we're dealing with. But not a big deal. And in the grand

tradition of our podcast together, I will not tell you you're wrong.

And so then everyone can make fun of you.
