I'm your host, Chris Andreson, and yes, I am still alive, and, well, that obviously means Russians haven't gotten me yet.

If you've been wondering why the feat has been a little quite over the last few weeks or so

bit more, I have a two-part excuse for radio silence and both parts are deeply aggressively

Eastern European Gonzo. First I had to temporarily leave my beautiful damplod galleon swamp

to go mingle with the movers and shakers of our liberal elites.

Thank you for the invitation, by the way, to the person who did so.

I spent a few days trapped in aggressively, fancy and somewhat sterile air over the over on the Kourism Coast, playing the role of the Gonzo Observer.

Imagine a room of full of politicians, academics,

and MEPs, like, you know, like Iversiyyups, all standing around in tailored suits, sipping

good wine and debating the suboptimal nature of EU and the theoretical threats of populism and

the threats to Lafian democracy. Well, it was, it was an interesting experience, really.

They're all very nice people, but slightly detached from some of the realities on the ground, so to speak.

They're deeply, deeply concerned about the geopolitical situation, comrades.

And, well, the sad part is that they're a bit too slow and although very nice and I really, really enjoyed all the people there and they're very nice.

Well, they were a bit detached in some cases, but I did manage to give some of them a much needed frontline reality check.

But I will have to say that study.

Again, I have nothing bad to say about them
