Oh, shit. This week on the show, our coverage of the talisman continues with part two covering chapters six through nine of the novel.

Jack begins his journey, getting a quick glimpse of the dying

queen before heading out on the road, immediately having to travel back to our world,

and ending up in the hands of the nefarious smoky updike. A lot happens this week, Matt.

What did you think of this week's reading? I loved it. I think that I liked the first bit of reading, but I was like, I don't quite love this book yet.

This week's reading pushed me over the edge into getting why people enjoy this book, why people have been excited for us to get to this book.

Just a whole bunch of really great stuff.

As much trouble as I had with the notes last week, I just like found that I had no

trouble with the notes at all this week.

I was like, oh my God, like this is so interesting.

There's so much to say about this, you know?

So yeah, I'm really excited to talk about this.

I'm a little worried about our episode length, surprising no one.

It feels like there's a lot.

There's a lot in these chapters.

And I don't know.

Like, I base this whole thing on page count.
