How's it going this week, Travel and Matt?

It's going good.

I don't really understand what it is to be a Twinter yet. So I don't know how to

how to repartee with you here. But yeah, yeah. I mean, it's just, look, all it means is that

if I die, you die. And I think we both know that's the truth. Okay. This week on the show,

it is new book day, Matt. We are starting our next novel. How many is this in the season now?

I don't know. Like fifth, something like that. We're going to be spending the next few weeks

reading Stephen King and Peter Straub's The Talisman. And that all begins this week when we read

the entirety of part one of this novel, which includes five chapters and an interlude.

And I'm so excited about

this book, Matt. This is a book that I've been looking forward to discussing with you for a very

long time, because I think, as we'll get into here in a bit, I think this poses a unique challenge

for us in our Stephen King analysis, because as you heard me say there, there's another name on

the author line for this one. Yeah, yeah, we've got a dual author work, which is going to throw all sorts of wrinkles into our usual method.

I won't just be able to say, like, what I think King is doing here is because we don't know.

We don't know.

You know, is this a story decision of Kings?

Is this a line written by a King?

Sometimes you feel like you can guess that it is, but that's not reliable.
