I feel like Tom, we haven't had a full-blown show together in some time.

So this has been good.

This is a good thing.

It was a nice little respite to head down to Tampa and do all those things. But of course,

it got screwed up because Gus Malzano up and retired. Right. It couldn't have been somebody

else. It had to be Gus, right? You know, it's always Gus. Just as you start so you finish.

And that was terribly annoying. Just unbelievable. First day of the dead period

in a February. If you're going to take a Monday during the season, because the college football

calendar has changed so much. Oh, buddy, you are on to something there kind of per our

conversation in hour one about how they've in my mind butchered this whole playoff thing

and continuing to stretch it out even further. We're getting closer and closer to February. You're right, the calendar is changing. Yeah, well, the first Monday in February used to be one of the busiest days of the year because it preceded the first Wednesday in February, which was National Signing Day. So that was a huge day for updates and Intel on that final weekend of visits. Did you lock the kid in?

Are there any, you know, last second visits elsewhere? That was always a big deal for decades.

And now it's the one, one of the few times where the coaches even take off because it's a dead period.

February is now the dead month, unless you just want to leave your job, you know,

out of nowhere. So appreciate that, Gus. Well, I don't care that. I mean, the day that he

retired certainly affected us, but I don't really care that he did. I do, I do, I mean, again, as I said
