So last week on Instagram, we shared the announcement of our sweet little Holly Jane Bradshaw,

and I asked if a few of you would be interested in hearing about her birth story because I got a message from somebody asking about her birth. And I have always been a journaler, a big journaler, but ever since

becoming a mom, I just haven't

had the time.

So I decided instead of journaling, I was going to sit down and try to record a few different

things.

I've been recording during some of my late night nursing sessions, so my voice is seriously

so groggy in the middle of the night.

It's kind of hilarious.

But Carter and I really wanted to sit down and record her birth story just for ourselves, for keepsake purposes, for our

posterity and all of that. So I had asked if you would be interested in hearing it on the podcast,

and you said yes. So we are going to dive in to Holly's birth story and a little bit

of violets because you kind of need to understand Violet's birth story to have context for what happened

during Hollies. We were also asked to share how we came up with the names for both of our girls.
