Well, as you remember, they said there was like a 3% chance this asteroid was going to hit us in 2032.

Well, they have downgraded the odds.

An update now to story we've been talking about for several weeks now.

An asteroid that will fly near Earth in 2032

is now expected to pass safely by our planet. According to NASA, the probability of impact is now

just 0.004%. That's down significantly from an estimated 3.1% just last week. The asteroid is up to 300 feet wide, big enough to cause

some major damage if it were to hit Earth, but those odds, at least for now, appear to be

growing smaller. Come on, nerds, get the science right. Is it going to hit us or not? And by the way,
