grew up there, and that is the esteemed Ted Miller. Ted, thanks for joining me on the Audible today. Thanks for having me, Bruce. All right, so Ted, I have not been shy about saying this. You were like one of my favorite writers that I've ever worked with. For those who don't know, and if you don't, you're probably not listening to this podcast anyway, but Ted was ESPN.com's go-to guy on the pack 12 for a long

time he had a really unique voice in part because i think because it was personality but also

because ted was a very successful columnist in seattle for a while ted for the for the people

who haven't know you haven't you worked, you worked for you've been for a while

and then no longer do. Before we get into what you're doing now, I did want to ask you,

do you miss the writing part of it? Well, I like writing. What I'm doing now involves a lot of

writing. It's different and I'm enjoying that too. But that was, you know, that was why I got

into sports writing in the first place. I applied for a job at a newspaper, and their opening was in sports. So I didn't apply for a sports writing job. They just asked me if I was interested. So, yeah, you know, I miss it some. I mean, it's, it's, it's, there's certainly plenty of things to be irreverent when I see results, especially in the downer years for the

Pact 12, that there was things that I thought were interesting angles, but I really love where I am now, and I'm still getting to fill my writing Jones, so to speak. And by the way, I appreciate that intro there. I'm like sitting there going to wonder how much I'm going to have to pay for a dinner in the future when you get together. Ted, it's never dinner.
